Why write for HuntOrbit

Most “SaaS review” content online is written by someone who spent ten minutes on a product’s homepage. We built HuntOrbit around the opposite idea: every review comes from real, hands-on use — the free tier, the onboarding flow, the pricing page, the parts that don’t work as well as the marketing says. If you’ve genuinely used a SaaS product and have an honest opinion worth reading, we want it.

For writers, that means a byline on a review site that stands behind editorial honesty rather than pay-to-play placements. For SaaS companies, it means a review your prospective customers will actually trust, because it isn’t the only kind we publish.

What we publish

  • Hands-on product reviews — a single SaaS tool, tested and reviewed with real screenshots, specifics, and an honest star rating
  • Head-to-head comparisons — two tools solving the same problem, compared on the details that actually matter to a buyer
  • Category round-ups — occasionally, a curated look at the best tools for a specific job

We don’t publish sponsored placements disguised as independent opinion, AI-generated filler, or reviews of products the writer hasn’t actually used.

Who this is for

Independent writers and reviewers. If you write about SaaS, productivity tools, marketing platforms, or developer tools — and you can back it up with real usage — we’re a home for that work.

SaaS companies and founders. Want your product reviewed? Submit it through the same form. If it’s a genuine fit for our audience, we’ll review it like any other submission. We also offer sponsored reviews for companies who want a guaranteed, in-depth write-up — sponsorship is always disclosed, and it buys thoroughness, not a guaranteed positive verdict.

Our guidelines

  • You’ve used the product yourself for at least a couple of weeks — not a five-minute demo
  • The review is specific: real pricing tiers, real feature limits, real trade-offs — not vague praise
  • 1,200–2,000 words, written in plain, direct language a non-technical reader can follow
  • Original work, not published anywhere else first
  • Any affiliation with the product (you work there, you’re an investor, you’re an affiliate partner) is disclosed upfront — we’ll still consider it, we just need to know

How submission works

  1. Submit your pitch or draft through the form below — product name, your angle, and either a full draft or a detailed outline
  2. We review it within a week and reply either way — approval, requested changes, or a pass
  3. If it’s approved, we’ll send a checkout link or invoice by email at that point — payment is only ever requested after your article is confirmed to fit our editorial guidelines, never upfront
  4. We publish it, with your byline and a link back to your own site or portfolio

Frequently asked questions

Do you accept guest posts about SaaS products? Yes — that’s the core of what HuntOrbit publishes. A hands-on SaaS review or comparison is exactly what we’re looking for.

Is there a fee to submit? No. Submitting a pitch or draft is always free. If your article is approved, we’ll discuss payment by email at that point — there’s no charge just to pitch or to have your work considered.

Can I write about a product I work for or am affiliated with? Yes, as long as you disclose the affiliation in your submission. We’ll typically ask you to disclose it in the published article too.

How long until I hear back? Within a week of submitting, one way or another.

Do you accept sponsored reviews from SaaS companies? Yes. Submit through the same form and note that you’re interested in a sponsored review — we’ll follow up with details. Sponsored reviews are always disclosed as such and held to the same editorial honesty as everything else we publish.
